Vikas Raj Has Appointed 60 Expenditure Inspectors For Telangana Elections
Hyderabad, Nov 23 (Maxim News): Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer, Vikas Raj said that 60 expenditure inspectors have been appointed in the wake of the Telangana Assembly elections.
Speaking to press persons, here today, Vikas Raj has briefed on the arrangement for the Assembly elections scheduled to be held on November 30, he said that there are 9.9 lakh voters in the state between the ages of 18 and 19.
Service voters have already exercised their right to vote.
We have prepared 36,000 EVMs for polling in the Legislative Assembly elections.
Printed 51q lakh new voter cards and distributed them through the postal department. Appointed 60 cost inspectors.
For the first time in the Telangana state home voting facilities have been provided to 3 categories of voters, more than 9 thousand voters have already cast their home voting.
We have already completed the distribution of 86 percent of voter slips. We are setting up a total of 35,635 polling stations in the state.
There are more than 5 thousand polling stations in six constituencies. All the facilities will be provided to the polling staff at the polling center.
