The marathon was flagged off by respected SBI dignitaries – Shri Rahul Sankritya, Deputy General Manager & Shri K Uma Maheswara Rao, Public Relations Officer. Their presence reinforced SBI’s commitment to inspiring India toward a more sustainable and health-focused future.

Upholding its sustainability-first legacy, the SBI Green Marathon delivered an environmentally responsible experience at every step:

• Organic T-shirts, plantable BIBs, and reusable cloth goodie bags encouraged a zero-waste approach.
• Black alkaline water, a pioneering hydration initiative, supported runner endurance and recovery.
• Waste Management Partner Skrap oversaw waste segregation, recycling, and responsible disposal — with a comprehensive sustainability report to follow.

Adding to the charged atmosphere was Mirchi RJ Prem, whose energy, interaction, and enthusiasm kept runners motivated and the crowd fully engaged, turning the morning into a celebration of fitness and community spirit.
