After the murder of young girl in Gajuwaka of Visakapatnam in a couple of months back, Priyanka (20), a young woman from Ferry Junction who is working as a ward volunteer was brutally murdered by a youth over love. Police suspect that her boyfriend Srikanth attacked her with a knife on suspicion that she was having an affair with someone else.
The young woman was stabbed in the neck while at home an was seriously injured in the attack. The accused seems to have told her parents that he had attempted murder on her daughter after the attack. He later stabbed himself in the neck and committed suicide. The locals noticed and rushed the two to KGH hospital. Doctors have revealed that Priyanka’s condition is critical while both are being treated at the hospital.
