Hyderabad, March 18 (Maxim News): Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana, Vikas Raj said that the eligible candidates for “Vote-at-Home” facilities are advised to apply before April 22.

Speaking to press persons, here today, the CEO has informed that arrangements are being made for the Lok Sabha elections, as part of it, for availing facilities “Vote-at-Home”, instructions have been given to the concerned authorities to distribute Form D for the purpose, it was also explained on the issue of postal ballot printing at local level.
He said that 2.09 lakh people used postal and at-home voting during last year’s Assembly elections in the state of Telangana, he said that printing of EVM ballot papers will be done in Chanchalguda. He said that there are 1.85 lakh elderly people above 85 years of age and 5.26 lakh disabled voters in the state. A total of 90,365 polling stations will be set up. It has been revealed that home voting will be held in 3-4 days after the withdrawal of nominations of the candidates. (Maxim News)
