Vote Counting Of Graduates MLC By Election Going On
Hyderabad, June 5 (Maxim News): The counting of votes for Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Legislative Council by-election is going on. Counting of votes is being done at Anishettiduppalpalli godown of Tipparthi mandal near Nalgonda district headquarters. Currently, the counting of first priority votes is going on. A total of 4,63,839 voters were registered in the 12 districts of the constituency, with a voter turnout of 72.44 percent 3,36,013 cast votes, 2,139 postal ballots.

Four halls were set up for the counting of votes. A total of 96 tables of 24 counting tables have been set up in each hall. 96 thousand votes are counted on 96 tables in each round.
Counting of first priority voters in four rounds is about to be completed. Counting of first preference votes is expected to be completed by midnight. The counting of votes is being delayed as the elections are held through ballot paper.

Counting will be done for about 24 hours. Arrangements were made for counting staff to work in shifts. 900 people will participate in the counting for each shift. First shift employees are on duty from 6 am to 3 pm. Counting will start from 3 pm with second shift staff and will have to work till midnight on 6th. All the ballot papers will be made bundles of 25 ballot papers each under the supervision of the counting supervisor. Whoever gets more than half of the valid votes will be declared the winner. As there is a possibility to exercise the right to vote in order of priority, the counting process will be done in the elimination methods until the winning quota of the candidates in the Legislative Council elections is reached.
