Warangal: Dayakar Rao Inaugurates CT scan in MGM Hospital

Warangal, May 24 (Maxim News): Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao inaugurated a CT scan machine worth about Rs.2.14 crore at MGM hospital in Warangal on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao said the facilities in the government-run hospitals are being upgraded across the Telangana State and the poor people are getting quality treatment at free of cost under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Errabelli said the CT scan machine will ensure that patients don’t have to go outside for diagnostic tests and all emergency cases can be handled effectively.

Errabelli said the advanced X-ray machine worth about Rs.15 lakhs and ultra sound machine worth about Rs.40 lakhs already set up in the hospital and an MRI scan machine worth Rs 12 crore will also be available very soon in the hospital.

The Minister said the sanitation is very important for the maintenance of hospital in clean and hygienic condition and directed the hospital superintendent to conduct the cleaning work three times in a day.

He assured that the wages of workers working on the contract basis in the hospital will be increased from the existing salary of Rs.9800 to Rs.15,500 soon.
