Warrant Issued For Former SIB Chief Prabhakar Rao’s Arrest In Phone Tapping Case

Hyderabad, May 10 (Maxim News): A key development has taken place in the phone tapping case‘ which created a sensation in Telangana. The Nampally court has issued a warrant for the arrest of former SIB Chief Prabhakar Rao. The police filed a petition to issue an arrest warrant under Section 73 CrPC.

The court took up the investigation and issued orders allowing it. It is known that four police officers have been arrested and recalled in the phone tapping case.

Based on the details given by these four arrested police officers in police custody, the investigation team found that Prabhakar Rao, who is the main mastermind in this case, played a key role in the phone tapping. As soon as the case was registered, he went abroad.

The police have already issued lookout notices so that they can be caught wherever they land at the airport. Red corner notice. Interpol officials need to be allowed by the court to be contacted by the investigation team. In this context, the police took an arrest warrant under CrPC 73. (Maxim News)
