Allegations of Constitutional Violations
Owaisi argued that the Waqf Amendment Bill undermines the principle of judicial independence and the separation of powers, calling it “discriminatory and arbitrary in nature.” He warned that passing this bill would violate religious freedom and fundamental rights, particularly those enshrined in Article 25. “This bill makes it impossible to donate property in the name of Allah, and it is an attempt to grab the properties of Dargahs and mosques,” Owaisi stated, making sharp criticisms against the ruling government.
