WATCH | Female Doctor Attacked at Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad

Secunderabad: In a disturbing incident, a female junior doctor was assaulted by a patient’s relative at Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad. The attack occurred in the emergency ward, but the exact motive behind the violence remains unclear.

According to reports, the assailant got into a heated argument with the junior doctor before grabbing her apron and launching the attack. Prompt intervention by fellow doctors prevented the situation from escalating further.

The entire incident was captured on the hospital’s CCTV surveillance system, providing crucial evidence for the police investigation. Hospital security personnel apprehended the attacker and handed him over to the Chilkalguda police station.

Subsequently, a group of junior doctors filed a formal complaint with the police regarding the assault. This incident has once again highlighted the growing concerns over the safety of healthcare professionals in the region.
