Police have intensified security at key locations, including all railway stations and bus stands, in an effort to prevent any untoward incidents. On Monday evening, a car exploded at 6.52 pm near a traffic signal close to the landmark Red Fort, leaving 10 people dead and 24 injured. This incident has prompted nationwide vigilance and a coordinated response from law enforcement agencies.

Authorities in Hyderabad have put bomb squads on alert and increased the frequency of checks at busy transit points. Police have carried out thorough security inspections at Secunderabad Railway Station, Kacheguda Railway Station, Shamshabad airport, and major bus terminals such as MGBS and JBS. Officials have also checked a large number of vehicles at TadBund X Road under Kalapathar Police Station as part of citywide security drills.

The Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Sajjanar, has asked residents to remain vigilant and to immediately report any suspicious persons or objects by dialing 100.
