WATCH | JDU’s Nitish Kumar Took Oath As Bihar CM

Patna/Hyderabad, Nov 20 (Maxim News): JDU chief Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar on Thursday. This is the tenth time he has taken oath for the state. Along with Nitish Kumar, 27 ministers took oath at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha were given the posts of Deputy CM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and others attended the event.

The NDA alliance has won a landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. The NDA, led by Nitish Kumar, won 202 seats out of the total 243 assembly seats. The BJP contested 101 seats and won 89 seats. The JDU, which contested only 101 seats, won 85 seats. Of the 27 ministers who were recently sworn in, 14 are from the BJP and 9 are from the JDU. CM Nitish Kumar has been in office in Bihar for almost 19 years. He served as CM for only seven days in the year 2000. Now, with the NDA alliance once again handing over the reins to him, he has been sworn in as CM for the tenth time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Nitish Kumar on his tenth swearing-in as the CM of Bihar. “My heartfelt congratulations to Nitish Kumar on his swearing-in as the CM. Nitish is a leader with a lot of experience in politics. He has an excellent record of providing good governance in the state,” he posted on X. (Maxim News)
