Watch: MLC Amer Ali Khan Seeks Fair Compensation for Old City Metro-Affected Properties

Hyderabad, Dec 18 (Maxim News):  Congress MLC Amer Ali Khan seeks fair compensation to the owners of the properties that are coming under the effect of the proposed Hyderabad Metro Rail project in the old city Hyderabad between Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station to Chandrayangutta.

Raising the issue in the Legislative Council, here on Wednesday, MLC Amer Ali Khan said that the project was finalised in the year 2012, but due to some reasons, it could not be taken up, now this project on 7.5 km between MGBS to Chandrayangutta, has been taken up, under this 1100 properties are coming which need to be demolished, in which most of the properties are commercial properties.

Amer Ali Khan Seeks Fair Compensation

The compensation given on this very less, keeping in view the livelihood on the commercial properties fair compensation should be given by holding the meeting with the property owners, he urged.  (Maxim News)
