WATCH | Muslim Personal Law Board Gears Up To Protect Masjids in Modi’s India

Hyderabad, Jan 18 (Maxim News): The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) in its meeting at Hyderabad today with Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani. Nationwide members of the AIMPLB has expressed deep concern on the present situation going in the country with regard to the Masjids in the country causing tension among the minorities has passed the resolution asking the Prime Minister Modi to follow strictly the implementation of the “Places of Worship Act – 1991, particularly in cases like Gyanvapi, kashi and mathura.  The Center’s continued silence on this matter is criticized for allowing state governments to potentially misrepresent the law in courts.

Briefing the deliberation of the AIMPLB, Maulana Umreen Mahfouz Rehmani along with the AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi today, said that Legal Committee of the AIMPLB  will take up the ongoing legal challenges against mosques in various courts, contending claims of other places of worship, the BOard strong condemned the flouting of the law and sought clarification form the government on its stances.  

AIMPLB has resolved to seek Prime Minister Modi to maintain the stand taken by India from Gandhiji, father of the nation to the late Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on the Palestinian cause.  The Board has strongly condemned the act of attacks in which thousands of Palestinians were killed by Israel.  The Board expressed thanks to all those countries who are supporting the Palestinians 

Various sub-committees have been formed to spread and promote Islam religion and its culture, asking people to go to the masjids for prayers for the well being of the people and the society.  As part of it, the AIMPLB has drafted the new “Nikah nama”  and appeal to the Muslims to follow the “Nikah Nama” drafted by the AIMPLB in toto.  He said that separate guidelines will be prepared to implement the resolution passed in the today’s meeting shortly 

With regard to the Wakf lands, the AIMPLB said that the law is existing in the protection of Wakf properties which should be implemented strictly for which the Committee is also formed, who will take up action according to the circumstances.  (Maxim News)
