WATCH | Panic Prevails As Electric Transformer Catches Fire In Yakutpura
Hyderabad, Mar 14 (Maxim News): Panic prevailed for some time when an electric transformer caught fire in Yakutpura on Friday afternoon. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
The incident occurred in a busy commercial area with several business establishments near the AI Safa Dairy unit.
Sources said that as the transformer was located near businesses, locals had panicked on seeing the huge flames and smoke emanating and called the Fire Department and police.
The Fire Department personnel reached the spot immediately and doused the fire before it could spread to the business establishments in the surroundings. The residents also helped the police and fire personnel.
The cause of the fire was not known. The Rein Bazar police are investigating the matter. (Maxim News)
