WATCH | Thousands Flock Tankbund To Join The Khairatabad Ganesh Visarjan

Hyderabad: The Khairatabad Maha Ganapathi idol reached crane No. 4 on the NTR Marg for the immersion in Tankbund, Hussain Sagar here on Tuesday.

The 70-ft tall Ganesh idol will be immersed after final prayers. A huge and towering crane has been brought specially for lifting the idol.

After prayers, Khairatabad Ganesh idol, which commenced Sobha Yatra around 6.30 am, steadily progressed towards the NTR Marg via Sensation Theatre, Telephone Bhavan, Telugu Talli flyover, and Secretariat.

A large number of people thronged the Tank Bund to take part in the procession of Bada Ganesh. To avoid any inconvenience to the Ganesh idol from the larger number of people, the Hyderabad Police deputed two layers of rope parties.
