Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party, after creating rifts between States over river water sharing and watching from the sidelines, were now talking of ‘water wars’ for gaining political benefits, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said.
Citing the Cauvery river water dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu that has in the news of late as an example, KCR, addressing the TRS party plenary, said the BJP and the Congress were enacting drama over Cauvery issue because of the upcoming elections in Karnataka.
