Highlights of the weather during the past week (15th to 21st April 2017)
Hyderabad: Hot weather conditions prevailed over many parts of the state during the last week with average maximum temperature recorded 42°C to 45°C over north and eastern parts of the state which is 3°C to 5°C above normal over Adilabad, Nirmal, Jagtial, Rajanna-Sircilla, Nizamabad, Komarambheem-Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalle, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam districts and the remaining part of the state recorded maximum temperature in the range of 41°C to 43°C.
Forecast for next week (From 22nd to 28th April 2017)
Based on the Weather Model run at TSDPS of Planning Department and other available numerical guidance from National Centers (IMD and other centers), it indicates that, mainly dry weather condition will continue over Telangana State during the next one week. The average maximum temperatures are likely to be more than 42°C over most parts of Telangana State which are likely to be 3°C to 5°C above normal. The maximum temperature will be in the range of 430C to 460C over north and eastern parts of the state and the remaining parts of the state is excepted to be in the range of 41°C to 440C, while the minimum temperature will be in the range of 240C to 280C, informed Mr. Y.V.
