According to initial reports, the woman, a resident of Raichur, took her husband, Tatappa, to the banks of the Krishna River. She reportedly asked him to take a selfie and, in a sudden move, pushed him into the river. The man was swept away by the strong current but was miraculously saved after getting caught on nearby rocks.

Locals who witnessed the incident quickly sprang into action and pulled Tatappa out using a rope, saving him from a potentially fatal outcome. Fortunately, he escaped with minor injuries.

However, the wife claimed that her husband accidentally fell into the river, contradicting eyewitness accounts and sparking suspicion among authorities and the public alike. The exact motive behind the alleged act remains unclear, and a detailed investigation is underway.
