Will Jagan demand special status to State or compromise for his cases: Lokesh
Amaravathi, June 16 (Maxim News): TDP leader Nara Lokesh on Thursday asked whether Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy could set a condition for Special Status to give support in the President election. He recalled that YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy had recently pointed out that their party’s support was a must for the NDA to win the Presidential poll. “Would Jagan Mohan Reddy demand Special Status now or would he bend his necks for the sake of his cases?
In a statement here today, Lokesh said prior to the elections, Jagan Mohan Reddy led an agitation for achieving Special Status. Even the people of Andhra Pradesh gave 22 MPs in the hope that Jagan would bring Special Status and the consequential benefits. Lokesh said now the time has come for the AP CM to fulfil his promise made to the people of the State regarding Special Status. (Maxim News)
