Woman Commit Suicide In The Police Station Alleging Filing Of Illegal Cases

Kothagudem/Hyderabad, Sept 27 (Maxim News): A tribal woman committed suicide by drinking pesticide on the premises of the police station in the belief that illegal cases were being filed against her.

The incident took place in Dummugudem Mandal police station of Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The case is that a fight broke out between the two women who reached Dummugudem Police Station.  As a result, a woman named Nagamani filed a police complaint against a woman named Sammakka.  A case has been registered in the police station against Sammakka’s son Siddhartha (16).  In this connection, the police called Sammakka to the police station and interrogated her. But Sammakka told the police that it was true that she had beaten Nagamani.

But with the police acting unilaterally, registered a case against her son Siddhartha who did not know anything.  Sammakka was disturbed.  As a result, she committed suicide by drinking insecticide at the police station itself.  

Immediately alerted police personnel rushed Sammakka to Bhadrachalam Area Hospital.  Doctors are treating Sammakka. (Maxim News)
