Woman Murdered Drunk Husband In Front Of Her Son At Keshampet

HYDERABAD: A woman allegedly killed her husband in front of their 12-yearold son for coming home drunk and harassing her, at Keshampet. Police said Koppu Kumar, 35, died after his wife K Madhavi hit him on his head with a brick on Saturday.

In the past too, the couple used to be at loggerheads as Kumar frequently came home drunk. Late Saturday night, when he returned home drunk again, Madhavi turned furious. She picked up a brick and hit him on his head repeatedly.

Their son pleaded with her not to kill his father, but she did not heed the boy. She dumped Kumar’s body in a sump in front of their house, and cleaned the bloodstains before leaving the house.

Police have registered a murder case, and are on the lookout for Madhavi. The victim worked as a porter.
