YSRCP Leader, Actor Ali Made Chairman Of APFDC
Hyderabad, July 29 (Maxim News): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appointed Telugu film actor and comedian Ali as the new Chairman of AP Film Development Corporation (APFDC). Ali had joined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) recently and actively campaigned for the party in the recently concluded elections in April.
TDP leader Ambika Krishna was heading APFDC and the post fell vacant after he resigned from the post after elections.
Earlier, another comedian and YSRCP spokesperson Prudhvi was appointed as the Chairman of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel run by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).
In a recent appointment the AP government has issued orders to appoint Jakkampudi Raja as the new Kapu Corporation Chairman. Raja is currently the YSRCP MLA from Rajanagaram constituency in East Godavari district and was in the reckoning for this post of Kapu Chairman for quite some time. (Maxim News)
