Four persons were injured when an under-construction portion of a private school building collapsed in Vellore district on Thursday, an official said.
“As the portico was being constructed, it came down on Thursday evening, injuring four. The four persons have been sent to hospital,” an official of the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Service told IANS on phone from Vellore, around 140 km from here.
