ACB Unearths Crores Worth Properties Of Adilabad Food Inspector

Adilabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday raided the house of Adilabad Food Inspector Bapuji on complaints of accumulating disproportionate assets. The ACB teams simultaneously raided on his houses at Somajiguda, Bandlaguda in Hyderabad, Medchal and his office in Adilabad.

The officials seized Rs2 lakh cash, 260 grams of gold, half-kg silver from his Somajiguda house. They also found the documents of a villa in Bandlaguda worth Rs1.50 crore and agricultural land in Medchal. Two bank accounts and a locker are also being checked. The raids were led by ACB DSP Papalal.

The food inspector Bapuji is staying at Dwarakanagar in Adilabad. The ACB officials also conducted raids on Food Safety and Inspection Office in Adilabad and seized the records.

Bapuji, who is the in-charge of eight districts was arrested and shifted to Hyderabad ACB office.
