Selection for Army Boys Sports Company of Madras Engineering Group (MEG) & Centre will be conducted at MEG & Centre, Bengaluru from 04th to 07th June 2018. The selection will be held for sports disciplines of Boxing, Hockey, Swimming and Sailing.
Those who are in age group of 08 to 14 years as on 01st June 2018 and with minimum class 6th standard pass are eligible to participate in the selection. Interested candidates can report at the venue along with their original Date of Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/ Registrar of the birth and deaths), Caste certificate, Education certificate from the school, Character certificate from Gram Pradhan, Residential certificate from Tehsildar, six latest colour photos, one joint photo with grandparents and one joint photo with parents, sports participation certificate in District level and above if any and Aadhaar card. Candidates are requested to report to Presiding Officer, Selection Trials, MEG & Centre at Loomba Stadium by 9 am on 04th June 2018. The entry to Loomba Stadium will be from Murphy Gate on old Madras road.
Selected candidates will be provided free academic training from 7th to 10th standard. It is mandatory for the boys enrolled to join the Army after attaining the age of 17 ½ years after passing 10th standard.
