Two Samajwadi Party MLCs Ambika Choudhury and Ashok Bajpai resigned from the members of the Uttar Pradesh legislative council here today.
While SP general secretary and MLC Ashok Bajpai resigned from the party and the Council in the morning, Mr Choudhury ,who is presently a leader of the BSP put down his papers as SP MLC in the afternoon.
Both the leaders have sent their resignation letters to Council Chairman Ramesh Yadav here.
