The 29th Police Public Mela will be held on September 24, 2017 at summer capital Srinagar, a police spokesman said here this afternoon.
He said this was revealed at a senior police officers meeting, chaired by Director General of Police (DGP), Dr S P Vaid at Police Headquarters here today.
Speaking on the occasion, DGP impressed upon the heads of different wings of police to ensure greater participation of public by making innovations and suitable, appropriate changes in layout and presentation and by increasing the stalls and amusement points on the Mela day.
