Nabbed Drug Peddler Alog With Consumers, Seized (12.72) Grams MDMA In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 22: (Maxim News): The sleuths of TGNAB along with Madhapur Police, Cyberabad on credible information apprehended (5) persons, who had Narcotics Drug i.e. MDMA, and trying to sell the same to needy customers at Doctors Colony, beside Durgam Cheruvu, Madhapur, Seized (12.72) Grams MDMA and (1) Cell Phone from their possession all worth Rs. 1,53,000.

The accused Gosangi Venkata Sai Charan @ Charan, age 25 yrs, Occ: Pvt. Job (Operations Executive in Royal Tourist Pvt. Limited, Jaya Nagar, Bangalore, R/o Singa Sandhra, Bangalore, Karnataka State, N/o Nellore Dist, A.P.

Bangalore-based big MDMA drug transporting and supplying racket was busted by TGNAB along with Madhapur Police. The main accused Venkata Sai Charan is a native of Nellore town of Andhra Pradesh state has completed his graduation in Bangalore and is doing drug (MDMA) supply to more than fifty customers in Hyderabad and Nellore, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Vizag of AP.

Based in Bangalore, the accused Venkata Sai Charan has adopted a different modus operandi to transport the drug to different cities and towns. He is packing small quantities of MDMA in small paper boxes keeping the same in an envelope and handing it over to drivers of private travel buses flying from Bangalore unauthorizedly by giving them Rs.100/-. The drug receivers in Hyderabad are collecting the parcels from drivers directly. As of now the following travels 1) Morning Star Travels, 2) Rajeshwari Travels, 3) GVR Travels & 4) Cherry Travels are identified, through which the accused had transported drugs to Hyderabad.

On credible information on 21.06.2024 when the accused Venkata Sai Charan came to Hyderabad to supply MDMA drug to his regular customers, he was apprehended while he had 12.72 grams of MDMA and registered a case in Cr. No.800/2024 U/s 8(c), 22(c), 27 & 29 of NDPS Act-1985 of Madhapur Police Station, Cyberabad. So far (50) customers of Hyderabad, AP State, and Karnataka State have been identified.

In this regard notices are being served to all the travel agencies, that the buses will be seized and cases will be booked against the travelers if they unauthorizedly accept any parcels. Dog squads are being deployed to check the buses and luggage.

The arrests were made under the supervision of Ch. Sridhar, DSP, TGNAB by P. Ramesh Reddy, Inspector of Police, STF, TGNAB, and staff of TGNAB along with Madhapur Police, Cyberabad. (Maxim News)
