Singareni Debts Are Due To KCR’s Misrule: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, June 22 (Maxim News):  Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy criticized that Singareni was destroyed by the previous BRS government led by former Chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao.  He said that the KCR government has completely crippled singareni which was in profit and has been completely indebted until 2024 as of date.

Speaking to the media persons at the party office in Hyderabad, Kishan Reddy said that as of April 1, 2014, there were Rs. 3,500 crores in the Singareni Bank accounts during the BRS regime.  He said that before 2014, the singareni company used to dominate the banks.  They used to give offers to the banks that would get the highest interest rates.  Before 2014, the salaries of the employees were not cut even once.

Kishan Reddy said that the state government has to pay Rs. 30 thousand crores to the Singareni organization.  He said that the bills owned by the Singareni could not be paid on time.  If electricity dues had been paid on time during KCR’s rule, this situation would not have existed.  He said that funds were not given to the companies that supply electricity to Singareni on time.  He said that electricity companies are suffering losses due to non-payment of subsidy bills. Singareni also said that they did not pay the dues with 6 percent interest.

Kishan Reddy fumed that KCR did not pay dues of coal supply to GENCO on time, and KCR’S mismanagement led to singareni having to pay the debt.  He said that the abuse of power during KCR’s regime never happened.  He criticized KCR for never meeting the workers.  Before 2014 there was no political interference in Singareni. After BRS came to power.  He accused that Singareni was looted from sarpanch to ministers.  KCR said that MLAs should have a Singareni protocol,  what is the relationship between MLAs and Singareni?  

He said that MLAs and ministers have used Singareni as per the orders of the KCR.  He was fired for bringing about a situation where a worker needs permission from the local MLA to change his shift.  He said that KCR’s family is shedding crocodile tears over Singareni.  He criticized that KCR never cared about Singareni. He only used it politically.

Kishan Reddy criticized that KCR did not consult the Center in any matter, KCR never consulted the Center which has a 49 percent stake in the Singareni issue.  (Maxim News)
