Sharad’s faction to boycott JD-U national executive meet

The Sharad Yadav faction of JD-U will boycott the national executive meet of the party, to be held tomorrow in Patna and will organise a parallel meeting.

Talking to reporters here, former JD(U) deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha Ali Anwar Ansari and sacked party general secretary Arun Shrivastav said the Sharad Yadav faction will also knock the Election Commission’s door to stake claim over the party name and symbol.

Mr Shrivastav claimed that the Sharad Yadav faction was the “real JD-U” as party’s 14 state presidents were with him and around six to seven of them had participated in the ‘Sanjhi Virasat’ event yesterday while the remaining state presidents had sent message that due to some unavoidable reason they could not participate.
