₹2 Crore Theft in Himayat Nagar: Thief Caught in Nagpur
Hyderabad, Feb 13 (Maxim News): A huge robbery took place in Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad. A worker from Bihar stole gold, diamonds, and cash worth ₹2 crore from a house and disappeared.
The theft happened on Wednesday night in Minerva Hotel Gully while the house owner, Rohit Kedia, was in Dubai for his daughter’s wedding. When Abhay Kedia, who works for Rohit, noticed the robbery, he immediately filed a complaint with the Narayanguda police.
How the Theft Happened
- Rohit Kedia had 20 workers staying in his house.
- One of them, Sushil from Bihar, along with an accomplice, stole ₹20 lakh in cash, gold, and diamonds worth ₹2 crore on February 11.
- After the robbery, Sushil escaped to Nagpur by train from Nampally railway station.
Thief Caught in Nagpur
The Narayanguda police, using CCTV footage, tracked Sushil’s movements.
- With help from the Nagpur police, they arrested him in Nagpur.
- He was brought back to Hyderabad and is now in police custody.
