16 New COVID-19 Cases, Total 180 Cases In AP

Vijayawada, April 4 (Maxim News): Andhra Pradesh reported 16 more coronavirus positive cases since the night of April 3, taking the total number of coronavirus cases in the state to 180.

A media bulletin, released by Medical and Health Department stated that Krishna district has reported the highest, with 27 cases while Guntur district saw 23 persons testing positive for the dreaded virus. In Kadapa district, 23 cases were reported while the number in Prakasam district stood at 18. An West Godavari district has recorded 15 cases even as Visakhapatnam district showed up 15 cases.

The numbers in Chittoor 11, East Godavari 11, and Anantapur 2 respectively. Incidentally, Anantapur emerges as the district with lowest number of recorded coronavirus cases.

Andhra Pradesh also registered its first COVID-19 death . A 55-year old maan died on Friday. The victim happened to be the father of a participant at the Markaz meeting in Nizamuddin of Delhi organized by Tablighi Jamaat. (Maxim News)
