3kg Gold Seized From Passenger At RGIA

Hyderabad, May 6 (Maxim News): Officials of the Customs department seized three kilogram of gold from a passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here on Sunday.

According to officials, passenger one Chowtipalli Suresh, arrived by a flight from Singapore at the RGI Airport early on Sunday. He had concealed the gold biscuits in a specially tailored cloth he wore as an undergarment. A few gold biscuits were hidden in his shoes as well. The sleuths, who frisked him on suspicion found the gold on him. The gold was seized and the man was placed under arrest, the officials informed. (Maixm News)
