5000 Cr. for Muslims | Hyderabad, Jan 26 (Maxim News): South Indian Muslim Personal Law Board (SIMPLB) President and ruling BRS party Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency Incharge, Rashed Shareef said that their delegation will be meeting the BRS Chief and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and AIMIM Chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi to discuss the issues of Muslims Minorities which need to be resolved before the Assembly elections and seek assurances for the future demands

In an interview with Syed Ghouse Mohiuddin of INDTODAY, Rashed Shareef said that he is being in politics and active in the BRS party which has turned into National Party, the SIMPLB will actively participate in the campaign in favour of the BRS in South India and added presently it is working in the 5 states Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry including Telangana.

He praised the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrasekhar Rao for doing much for the development of Minorities since it came to power, which no other government Congress or TDP has not done.

He said that Residential Schools for Minorites students, fee reimbursement and scholarships in education, reservations in employment, the Aasra Pension scheme for the benefit of poor families girls’ marriage Shaadi Mubarak Scheme is being implemented successfully, and honorarium to Imaams and Moazans are a few of the big achievements and employment generation program which has benefitted much to the Minorities in the last 9 years of KCR rule.

5000 Cr. for Muslims in TS Budget

On the remaining demands of providing 12 percent reservations in education and employment to the minorities, Minorities Sub Plan on par with the SC and STs and extension of metro Rail from City Bus depot to Falaknuma, minimum budget for Minorities of Rs. 5,000 crores this year, he claimed that he has asked the Telangana State Waqf Board Chairman Mohd Masiullah Khan to allocate 150 acres of land for the construction of University for Minorities students, on these issues assurances will be taken by both KCR and Asaduddin Owaisi, he said.

Not against other organizations

South Indian Muslim Personnel Law Board is not against other organizations, All India Muslim personnel Law Board and Jamaat-e-Islami, he said the formation of SIMPLB for the southern 5 states is to reach the needy and solve their problems effectively, seeing that several issues pertaining to the Minorities are coming up in South India.

He referred to some of the issues of the Hijab row in Karnataka, mob lynching, etc which need effective approach in time, He said because of the distance, we have lost many cases in the Court including the Babri Masjid issue.

He said the SIMPLB has an agenda both politically and spiritually and added that several professionals, educationalists, and entrepreneurs are in contact and expressed hope that they will be successful in improving the standard of living of the minority community and protecting their rights.
