Hyderabad, Feb.25 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said old-age pensions will be given to those entering 57 years in the state.
As part of Pattana Oragati program, on the second day the minister toured localities in Sadashivpet in Sangareddy district and enquired about their problems. After interacting with people, Harish Rao said he would bring drinking waters in six months and address all issues. He instructed officials to give pensions to all the eligible persons as per norms.
The new Municipal Act will help people get all benefits, he assured. He also said the State government is for clean and green towns through the program. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao allotted 10 percent finds for Hritha Haram program, he said and urged the people to keep cleanliness and ensure greenery for better future. As per the new Municipal Act, people can construct houses in 75 sq yards without any permission by paying only a rupee, the minister said. For those who want build houses in 250 sq yards have to do so with self-certification, he said.
Harish Rao said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has appointed special officers for development of municipal areas. People have to involve themselves in the development process, Harish Rao exhorted. (Maxim News)
