Hyderabad, Feb.24 (Maxim News): Health minister Etala Rajender called upon people to participate in Pattana Pragati program to develop their towns with greenery, sanitation and development.
At Huzurabad, the minister attended Pattana Pragati program and exhorted people to maintain cleanliness. “Greenery, sanitation and personal hygiene will keep you healthy. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has started the Palle Pragati program that gave good results”, the minister said. “Similarly, we have now taken up Pattana Pragati program for development of all towns. We are spending several crores of rupees for providing basic amenities in villages and towns. The towns are facing health related problems which will be addressed with your involvement”, he added. “Welfare schemes are reaching the households and poor will get double bedroom housing facility. At any cost, the eligible poor will get housing facility and build houses on their lands by getting funds from the government”, he said.
“My mother did not give the Minister’s post to me. I got the post with the votes exercised by the people. I will always remember that the fuel filled in my vehicle comes from the money paid by the people towards taxes. So, people have every right over me.” He also advised the people not to give went to their ire at political leaders and officials, who visit their localities on government duties. “Explain to the officials about your problems and get your works done,” he said and asked councilors to visit their wards everyday and get acquainted with the local problems by interacting with the people.(Maxim News)
