6 TRS leaders elected MLCs unanimously

Hyderabad, Nov.22 (Maxim News): Six TRS leaders were elected unanimously as MLCs under MLA quota in the state. The MLCs elected are Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Kadiam Srihari, Banda Prakash, T Ravinder Rao, P Kaushik Reddy and Venkatram Reddy. Election Returning officers offered related certificates to the six leaders as the MLCs of legislature council. Later they all paid floral tributes at the Gun Park in front of the Assembly.

Talking to press persons, Kadiam Srihari extended thanks to the TRS Supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao for offering them the chance to be MLCs. With this the Chief Minister has done justice to all sections he said. The former minister claimed that the TRS government under KCR rule is doing its best in 7 years.

In the past seven years Telangana has been developed in all sectors, he said. We will work and make efforts for state development under KCR leadership and direction, Sirhari said. He criticised the BJP leaders for carrying out a misinformation campaign on the paddy procurement. The Centre is to get the paddy stocks and decide MSP and help the farmers, he said. Though the BJP led government in the centre failed to protect the interests of the farmers, he fumed.

The TRS leader further slammed the BJP Government of Modi was resorting to anti- farmer and anti-people policies. He took potshots at the Centre saying that the Modi Government failed to increase GDP. He attributed GDP sees a downward trend with lopsided policies of the Centre. (Maxim News)
