Hyderabad, Jan. 17: A Saudi Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Hyderabad airport on Saturday morning. The incident took place at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
The flight was traveling from Bangkok to Jeddah. It was operating as Saudi Arabian Airlines flight SV 845. While the plane was in the air, a cabin crew member suddenly fell ill. The crew member’s condition turned serious.
Initial reports indicate the crew member suffered a heart attack. Because of this, the pilots acted quickly. They contacted Shamshabad air traffic control for help.
Soon after, air traffic control cleared the flight for an emergency landing.

The aircraft then landed safely at the Hyderabad airport. Airport officials immediately responded to the situation.
Medical teams rushed to the aircraft. Doctors entered the plane and gave first aid to the crew member. However, his health did not improve.
As a result, officials moved him through a green channel. An ambulance then shifted him to a private Hospital in Jubilee Hills. Doctors there started advanced treatment.
Later, Saudi Arabian Airlines officials shared an update. They said the flight would continue to Jeddah after medical procedures. They did not give further details about the crew member’s condition.
Airport authorities said emergency systems worked smoothly. They also said staff followed all safety rules. Coordination between pilots, ATC, and medical teams helped manage the situation.
Officials added that the airport remains ready for such emergencies. Medical teams stay available at all hours.
Passengers on the flight remained safe. Airport operations continued without any delay. Authorities said safety remains the top priority during medical emergencies.
