Hyderabad, Feb.1 (Maxim News): Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today said that expressed content that about 60 percent of students have attended on the first day of schools and colleges.
The schools and colleges were reopened in Telangana state following Corona protocols she noted.
As the government asked the parents sent the students as the schools and colleges which are sanitised.
Corona protocols for Students:
We took steps for 20 students in a classroom to be allowed in each classroom and maintain six feet distance. Sabitha Indra Reddy stated that all Corona protocols are being followed before opening the schools and colleges across the state.
She said all measures were taken by district administration to monitor arrangements as per Corona protocols. The minister said that a decision to reopen other classes will be taken after starting 9th, and 10th classes.
Sabitha Indra Reddy said that staff provides all facilities Corona isolation room, water, power, sanitation and other facilities are offered in the schools and colleges. Telangana School & Colleges Reopening: SOPs to followed.
It is to mention here that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that Telangana schools and colleges would reopen in the state from February 1, 2021, onwards. The schools would reopen for classes 9 & above and inter and degree classes in colleges would also resume on the same day. The Chief Minister has directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for conducting classes.
The decision to reopen schools was taken in a high-level meeting with the Ministers and the District Collectors at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday a week after Telangana Parents Association members met the Education Minister of the state Sabitha Indra Reddy to discuss schools reopening. (Maxim News)
