The Chennai police seized 96 beer and 8 IMFL bottles from the car of Tollywood actress Ramya Krishna. They came across the car of the actress while they were inspecting the vehicles at Muthukadu check post on the ECR under the limits of the Kanathur police station.
The police registered a case against the driver and released him on personal bail. During the lockdown, the state government banned bringing liquor into Chennai. Beer and IMFL bottles were brought from Mahabalipuram with no liquor sales in Chennai, according to police.
