Harish Rao Sought Report Into Nizamabad Govt Hospital Incident
Hyderabad, April 15 (Maxim News): Minister for Medical, Health and Family Welfare and Finance T. Harish Rao has ordered the Director of Medical Education to investigate the incident of which a video related to Nizamabad Government Hospital has now gone viral on social media. The scenes where a sick patient was being dragged to the hospital by his assistants by his legs has become a topic of discussion. There is a large-scale publicity that the patient has to be locked by holding both legs due to negligence of the government hospital staff and submit a report immediately.
Meanwhile, Nizamabad Government Hospital superintendent Pratimaraj gave an explanation on this video which is being circulated on social media. She said that the security staff of the hospital has been inquired about the incident. It is said that the patient’s parents grabbed his legs and locked him as the lift arrived before the wheelchair could be brought. seeing this, the staff took him away in a wheelchair. Not knowing all this, someone took a video and spread it on social media.
It is said that it is painful to make such videos without knowing full information and to lose faith in government hospitals. He said that action will be taken against those who spread bad news about the hospital. (Maxim News)
