New Parliament Building Inauguration: Panchayat Went To The Supreme Court

Delhi/Hyderabad, May 25 (Maxim News): The inauguration of the New Parliament by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28, this panchayat went to the Supreme Court. A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking orders for the President of India to inaugurate the New Parliament.

The opposition parties are divided over the news that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament building. They described the inauguration of this building by the hands of the Prime Minister and not by the hands of president Droupadi Murmu, who is the head of the constitution as an attack on democracy itself,

It may be recalled that 19 parties including the Congress have issued a joint statement saying that they are boycotting the inauguration of the Parliament to be held on May 28.

Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Trinamool congress, DMK, Janata Dal (United) nationalist Congress Party, Shiv Sena, CPM, CPI, Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya janata Dal, Indian Union Muslim League, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, national Conference, Kerala Congress (Mani) RSP, VCK, MDMK and RLD parties have signed this statement. According to Article 79 of the Constitution, Parliament means the President, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. (Maxim News)
