Hyderabad, June 1 (Maxim News): Minister for tourism and Culture, G. Kishan Reddy informed that the Railway Board has given green signal to the survey of two superfast railway lines (bullet trains) in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and also decided to complete the survey within six months.
This decision has been taken by the Railway Board on the initiative taken by the Union Minister Kishan Reddy. The Railway Board has written a letter to the South Central Railway to this effect.
The survey will be conducted on Visakhapatnam-vijayawada- shamshabad and Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Kurnool routes. The necessary survey for the construction of the railway line will be conducted on a total of 942 km (to travel at a maximum speed of 220 kmph) within the scope of these two lines. (Maxim News)
