FMG Doctors Protest In Hyderabad | Hyderabad, Nov. 6: Police detained and arrested protesting Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) interns at the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) office in Kothi on Friday. The doctors were demanding higher stipends and payment of pending dues.
The protesting interns demanded a monthly stipend of Rs 29,792, citing a Supreme Court order. They also sought immediate payment of pending dues from January 2026.

The agitation entered its 30th day on Friday. Meanwhile, the interns continued their relay hunger strike near the Telangana Medical Council office in Kothi for the second consecutive day.
