Hyderabad: A heart-wrenching incident took place on Thursday when a two-year-old baby girl lost her life after being struck by a negligently opened car door on a busy road in LB Nagar. The incident, captured on CCTV, sent shockwaves as the footage went viral on social media platforms.
According to reports, the car driver carelessly halted the vehicle in the middle of the road, failing to take adequate safety precautions. Ignoring the oncoming traffic, the driver opened the car door without ensuring it was clear.
Tragically, a couple named Syed and Sashirekha, accompanied by their daughter Dhanalakshmi, were riding a bike behind the car. The opened door collided with them, causing the toddler to fall onto the road and sustain fatal injuries. The LB Nagar police have initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain the exact circumstances and hold the responsible parties accountable.
