Providing Rs. 1 Lakh Financial Aid To BCs Is a Continuous Process: Kamalakar

Hyderabad, June 17 (Maxim News): BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar said that the scheme of Rs. one lakh financial assistance to BCs is a continuous process to increase the living standards of artisans in the state.

Ministers Harish Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Jagadish Reddy, Prashanth Reddy, and Srinivas Goud participated in the Cabinet sub-Committee meeting chaired by the Minister at the State Secretariat today.

Gangula Kamalakar said that till today, 2,70,000 applications have been registered online. it has been revealed that it will be given to the poorest of the eligible beneficiaries first.

Collectors have been directed to send the list of beneficiaries to the government by the 5th of every month. The beneficiaries in the list confirmed by the in-charge ministers will be given assistance on the 15th of every month through the hands of the local MLAs. Applicants are advised to apply through the website https://tsobmmsbc.cgg.gov.in only. Under no circumstances should the form be submitted to any office or official.

The selected beneficiaries are advised to buy the tools and materials of their choice within a month. he said that the authorities will continuously monitor the development of the beneficiaries. it is mentioned that the photos of the units with the beneficiaries will have to be uploaded online within a month.

BC Welfare Department Chief Secretary Burravenkatesham briefed the cabinet sub-committee on the implementation of the first phase of the BC aid scheme. Rani Kumudini, special chief Secretary of, the Labour Department, B.Venkatesham, Chief Secretary of BC Welfare Department, Ronald Ross, Secretary of, the Finance Department, and officials participated in this program.
