Revanth Slams KCR Govt For Failing To Support People Affected From Floods

Hyderabad, July 26 (Maxim News):  Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MP, Revanth Reddy was furious over not taking any relief measures Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao said that the people are suffering due to floods in Hyderabad for the past week.  

Speaking to press persons, here today, Revanth Reddy said neither Chief Minister KCR nor his son and Municipal Administration and Urban Development K. Tarak Rama Rao for not taking any precautionary measures.  

He said that the people were in a frenzy on KTR’s birthday and forgot about it.  he said that if the people are facing severe difficulties, the government is not reviewing at least.  He said that the entire state has become chaotic due to heavy rains for a week.  He said that the weather department has already announced an alert in the state due to heavy rains, but the government is not taking any measures.  People are suffering due to traffic problems.  He said that people are suffering on the roads for hours.  

The TPCC chief said that Hyderabad was described as a cosmopolitan city. KCR and KTR, who boasted that Hyderabad will be Dallas and Old City Istanbul, have turned Hyderabad into a hellhole.    

In the wake of rain, people have been advised to be alert and avoid going to canals and flooded areas.  He said to be careful around old buildings, walls, and dilapidated houses.  Do not send children out.  He reminded us that in the past floods in the state have caused huge loss of property, loss of life, and loss of crops.  He said that for the last 9 years, not a single action has been taken to create facilities and benefit the people in Hyderabad.

He called upon the Congress ranks to be constantly available and provide assistance to the people on these matters.  He demanded that the government should provide proper services and support to the people for two days on Wednesday and Thursday.  Failing with Regvanth Reddy wanted that they will seize the Greater Hyderabad Corporation office under the leadership of the Congress party on Friday.
