Ponnala Made Serious Comments: BCs Are Drifted Away From Congress

Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 12 (Maxim News): Telangana Congress senior leader Ponnala Lakshmaiah made serious comments that the election results are proof that the BCs have not their way to the Congress.

He spoke to the media person in Delhi, and he said, after 1983,  Congress could not even win half the seats in Telangana.  The reasons for this should be examined in depth. The election results are proof that the BCs have drifted away.  Is it enough to give seats to BCs during elections? Necessary to make partners in the party?  I was given the post of PCC president 40 days before the election.  Many elections had to be faced in these few days.  Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has done politics wisely.  He announced Dalit Chief Minister and 12 pe4r cent reservation for tribals and three acres for Dalits.  The word Telangana was not used anywhere.  That word means.  people think that Telangana was given by Sonia Gandhi.  (Maxim News)
