20 Years Of Rirgorous Imprisonment To Accused For Sexually Abusing Of A Minor Girl

Hyderabad, Oct. 3: Occurred on 29.06.2019 at 10:00 hrs at Dattathreya colony, Yellammabanda, Jagadgirigutta. Reported on 29.06.2019 at 23:30 hrs by the complaint of Victim father In which he stated that the complainant having two daughters and one son, his second daughter is the Victim girl Aged about 07 years. On 29.06.2019 morning hours the complainant went to work and when he came back to home at 19.30 hours, his wife told him that at about 10:00 hours one person namely Gundala Mahipal Reddy S/o Ram Reddy, age 48 yrs, occ: Labour, R/o Dathatreya colony, Yellammabanda N/o Mothkupally village, Kotpally mandal, Vikarabad District took his daughter Victim girl to back side of water tank of Ramreddy’s house roof top and raped her. When victim girl shouting the neighbour who saw insident, have cought hold him and handed over to the Police.

As per the contents of the above complaint, the then SHO Sri. A GANGA REDDY, Inspector of
Police of Jagathgirigutta PS has registered a case in Cr.No: 421/2019 vide SC.No.966/2020, U/S 376 AB IPC & sec 5 (m)r/w 6 of pocso Act 2012 of PS Jagadgirigutta, Cyberabad and took up the investigation During the investigation he arrested the above accused and remanded him to judicial custody. After completion of investigation, the IO filed charge sheet in the Honorable court. During the trail the Honorable Metropolitan Sessions Judge at III ADJ cum POCSO Court Kukatpally Medchal Malkajgiri convicted the accused Gundala Mahipal Reddy S/O Ram Reddy, Age 48 years, occ: labour, R/O Dathatreya colony ,Yellammabanda, N/O Mothkupally village, Kotapally mandal, Vikarabad district for 20 yrs of Rigorous Imprisonment and fined Rs 50,000/-.

IO: A Ganga Reddy as Inspector of Police, Addl PP. Sri NageshwarRao Yelagapuri, Court Duty Officer T. Vinod Kumar PC 11113 of Jagathgirigutta PS, Briefing officer Smt: Obulamma WPC 7003 and Court Liasoning officer’s V. Bhaskar ASI & V.Chenna kista Reddy ASI have attended the court during the trail on behalf of prosecution. Sri. M. STEPHEN RAVEENDRA, IPS Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad and Sri. KALMESHWAR SHINGENAVAR, IPS DCP Crimes Cyberabad have appreciated the IO, Addl PP and CDO and announced that they will be rewarded in monthly reward mela.
