As of 8 am today, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold remains at Rs. 55,950, while the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold is Rs. 61,040. Silver is currently priced at Rs. 78,000 per kilogram.
The stability of local gold prices contrasts with recent volatility in the international market. In the lead-up to the wedding season, gold prices experienced a downward trend, with 24-carat gold dipping to around Rs. 60,000 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold falling to approximately Rs. 55,000 per 10 grams.
